Beta Reading:
YA Fantasy Novel
While working with Matt, a few things stand out. He is quick. You give him a manuscript, and he has it back to you sooner than most beta readers or critique partners. But he isn’t rushed. He has a heart for great stories, and you can tell he loves what he does.
Editing isn’t just a job for him. He invests in his clients and their work as if it were his own. He knows how to balance encouragement and suggestions for improvement, and he knows all the right questions to ask, especially when it comes to story structure and character motivation.
I also really appreciate his professionalism in communication. I haven’t worked with many beta readers who would schedule a zoom call to discuss the writing in person. Matt definitely set the bar for offering the kind of communication both written and in person that I believe every writer needs in all stages of the writing process. I would definitely work with him again!

Film Script
I love that Matt gave me an in-depth perspective that’s not just from a personal experience, but also from a professional standpoint. He gave me feedback in a timely manner and gave me actual advice as well, not just critiquing or editing my writings. This was very insightful and highly informative, especially because he gave me an overview of his synopsis in another document.

10/10 service and will definitely come back again soon!

Personal Website
I was just starting my blog, but I was feeling a little lost and unsure of how to start. I wrote some rough drafts of some blog posts about my favorite sports teams. Matt gave me feedback that helped me feel more confident in my writing.

Job Listing
I had posted the listing on Craigslist and LinkedIn, but hadn't gotten any applicants. After Matt worked on it, I started getting several qualified applicants to fill the videographer role I needed to fill.

Manuscript Evaluation:
Organizded Crime/Humor Novel
I really appreciated Matt's helpful and encouraging inline comments on my opening chapters. He spotted confusing moments and gave me some things to think about.
